Patent Attorney
Guerin & Rodriguez is interested in a registered patent attorney having a minimum of three years patent prosecution experience. The attorney is expected to work in a variety of intellectual property areas to support and counsel the firm's clients, including patent prosecution, licensing, preparation of legal opinions, trade secrets and trademarks. Candidates should have excellent oral and written communication skills. Although the firm encourages interaction between its attorneys to stay current on patent and technology matters, the candidate should be capable of independent work and responsibility for a variety of intellectual property matters.
Candidates must have a minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree preferably in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science. The candidate should also have at least three years of technical or scientific work experience. The ideal candidate should have experience in one or more of the following technology areas: telecommunications, computer networking, digital and analog circuitry, and electrical and optical devices.
